I Float Like A Butterfly Sayings

Just lay down in the sun without any stress ...

Blue is the colour of water and water is great source of fun especially in the summer. What does Dominika Szarek, the regular visitor of the open air bath in Eisenstadt, like and dislike about this open air bath? And what is its offer for this season?

Interview by Pavlína Omastová

Why do you like the open air bath in Eisenstadt?
I love enjoying my free time there, when the sun is shining. I don’t go there only becauce of swimming and sunbathing. As the open air bad has really very nice atmosphere, it’s also a good place for meeting my friends. When the weather is warm and temperatures are above 30 ºC - we don’t need much time to consider it… We just go to the open air bath in the castle park.

Which services does the open air bath in Eisenstadt offer?
The open air bad offers a large swimming pool, 25 m long and 2.3 m deep, and a small swimming pool for children. There is also a large green field around the pool, where you can lay and read a book:-) You can play volleyball there, too. In the swimming area you can find a slide, which is very funny. If you get hungry, you can buy something small to eat and drink. Refreshment isn’t expensive, so you can efford it even if you’re a student. After all, you can have a shower in a shower room.

How often do you go swimming to the open air bath in Eisenstadt?
Last year I used to go there every weekend, except the days, when I had to work. So I was there quite often. I will see how often my timetable will allow me to go there this year.

What is your best experience there?
Just laying in the sun without any stress and hurry, swimming and diving (it’s my hidden passion).

What would you improve about the open air bath in Eisenstadt?
Maybe I would add more attractions like a whirlpool, and music, which could accompany people while swimming. Except these things, I would say that nothing is missing.

What is the best day time for going to the open air bath in Eisenstadt?
During the week you can visit it whenever you want. As for weekends, if you prefer to be alone, go there rather in the morning before all the families with children come. The bath is opened from 9 am to 7 pm (8 pm in the July and August) every day except Monday mornings when it’s closed.

How much does it cost?
The entrace fee for adults is € 3.20, for teenagers from 15 to19 years € 1.6, and for kids up to 14 years € 1.20
