say really as dead as everyone?

Interview with Robert Fuhrmann (40), a resident of Eisenstadt

Hi Robert, how long have you lived in Eisenstadt?
I'm a relatively young Eisenstadt. I live here for half a year since October 2007.

Is there anything that you believe in the city of outstanding or particularly think? Would you say that sth
as is in Eisenstadt, which you must have seen or visited?
The cultural highlights.
Everything revolves around the Schloss Esterhazy. In addition, there is still a cultural standpoint, the age of Haydn T . Between Haydn and Eisenstadt, there is a very big name. This is not necessarily mine, but I've even seen, and especially for culture lovers, it is really worth. There are not just for culture vultures! In Eisenstadt and surroundings there are many taverns. As one can enjoy a relaxing evening and finish the day according l . I find that very attractive to Eisenstadt. It's not really a metropolis leinstadt but a very loving, sexy K !

What is missing in your opinion in Eisenstadt?

A program fürJugendliche and
missing young at heart., So premises and events that address exactly this target group. Since there is in Eisenstadt not much or nothing. That's really what I miss. And especially in comparison to other cities this size.

's nightlife with bars and restaurants would you describe it as a negative?

Yes, exactly. Take the pedestrian zone in Eisenstadt with the square outside the castle. A beautiful area, but at night it is deserted. A friend has me before I moved to Eisenstadt, said "Eisenstadt? What are you going there? As can be rolled up at 7 in the evening, the sidewalks and streets. "And so it seems to me too. For pedestrians in the center could be discontinued.

How do you find the shopping?
Shopping is sensational for a city this size. Eisenstadt is a city. This designation has Eisenstadt deal. It's all represented major retailers and even furniture stores, it is represented all the big names. No wishes remain open.

You hear time and again that nothing is going on in Eisenstadt. Is sometimes more going on? Perhaps some areas are sometimes crowded? Such as transport, while shopping
n, in the nightlife on the weekend?
I've never experienced. In my experience
ger the opposite ade. In July or August in the park is a large open-air plan, STS and Paul Simon, which I'm pretty excited. Since m is ore going to be in the city. This is definitely good impulses.

Are there other events, of which you see something? This weekend was the City Festival.

It's left its mark on me, I must admit. I also did not notice by posters or advertisements. Although I live in Eisenstadt and every day my mail box empty, I did not notice it.

That is, it will probably often been too little advertising.

even for young Eisenstadt. Longtime citizens know about natural events know. I've never even heard of it nor saw that it was advertised anywhere.

How would you evaluate the life here in general? Would you recommend to live here?

So the absolute. I have decided to Eisenstadt, because it is traffic position. Vienna is by car or public transport within easy reach. This is a big plus. Living in Eisenstadt is relatively cheap compared with other cities. My apartment is in a very quiet area and I enjoy life here. At the weekend I've got to go away to do something. But that does not bother me.
